The program emphasizes individual preferences and community participation by providing a wide variety of activities that enhance and support individuals to achieve their full potential. The HealthE6® model of care provides the foundation for adult program development. This program is designed to accommodate varying levels of independence, and emphasizes personal progression, individual preferences, and community participation through a range of enriching and therapeutic experiences. Designated as a Center of Excellence in New York State, we have become a magnet institution where individuals from around the region and world travel to. The building houses an instrumentation lab, which is administered by Purdues Center for Analytical Instrumentation Development (CAID). The Adult Residential Program at The Center for Discovery® offers unique models of living for individuals with complex conditions including medical frailties and Autism Spectrum Disorders who are over the age of 21.
